What do I need to bring at the automatic driving lesson?

Your Learner Permit / licence always which you get after you passed your theory test plus an eye check test and in the start EDT logbook from the RSA provided by the instructor to get stamped .

Are automatic cars better for nervous drivers?

Learning to drive in an automatic car is a fantastic choice for nervous drivers as there is less to learn and focus on while driving in comparison to driving a manual car.

Can I take my test in an automatic even if I’ve done lessons on a manual?

Yes, absolutely. You can switch to an automatic for your driving lesson but it’s recommended to get a few hours of automatic lessons beforehand so you are familiar with driving this type of car. It’s also important to note that after passing your test on an automatic, you are not permitted to drive a manual.

How many hours does it take to be able to drive a car safely and smoothly on driving test level?

You must have been driving in the car according to the RSA for minimum 50 up to 120 hours. This can also be blended with a sponsor Talk to your instructor. Depends very much on the individual.
